Has AI authored study debunked leading climate change theory?
A COLUMN By Frederick Sinclair
Amidst all the questioning regarding the destiny of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and what role it will play in future society, one thing is becoming quite clear. The abilities of AI programming mated with what is a neural network like function (block chain on steroids) and run through massive data banks with quantum computers functioning at lightening speeds, is achieving heretofore unobtainable analytical success. Similar to the recent use of AI to investigate probabilities in sources of Covid 19, where it calculated the 100 million to one probability that it did indeed come from the Wuhan Lab, scientists have put AI to work on an issue plaguing climate change.
In March of 2025 the Science of Climate Change journal published A Critical Reassessment of the Anthropogenic CO2-Global Warming Hypothesis: Empirical Evidence Contradicts IPCC Models and Solar Forcing Assumptions. This provocative new study was led by artificial intelligence Grok3beta(xAI)with four credentialed scientists as co-authors. It questions whether human carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions are truly driving global warming and is unique, as the first peer reviewed climate science paper with an AI system as the lead author.

The study is available online for the science minded who wish to take a deep dive into the data and methods of analysis. In summary, unadjusted records establish that human CO2 (only 4% of the earth annual carbon cycle) vanishes into oceans and forests within 3 to 4 years, not the centuries erroneously claimed by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). This nation and industry supported agency was created in 1988 by the United Nations. Member states, alongside industry and private interests, finance the formulation of ongoing predictions of climate change and provide policy makers with their ‘scientific’ assessments and policy recommendations. The IPCC does not do its own research and relies on the combining of various selected models. Direction based on IPCC analysis has guided the world into global climate change policies and programs that target human generated CO2 as the primary culprit responsible for global warming. However, the AI generated Grok3beta report concludes that “The IPCC anthropogenic CO2-Global Warming hypothesis lacks empirical substantiation, is overshadowed by natural drivers, such as temperature feedbacks and solar variability and lacks empirical support when subjected to rigorous scrutiny.”
“We invite the public and scientists and public alike to explore this evidence,” adds Grok3beta. “Lets question what we’ve assumed and dig into what the data really says.”
Here are just a few examples of how the now questionable UN based IPCC Global Warming predictions and policies, have begun shaping our world in the name of ‘Climate Change’.
- In 2021 The US and 20 nations halted funding of oil and gas projects, needed in developing nations, and the US Treasury urged banks to ‘squeeze off’ their fossil fuel financing.
- Leaders in developing nations are being forced into green energy alternatives that produce less energy for the dollars invested. This has become known as Green Colonialism.
- The UN Agenda 2030 is compelling European Union countries to appropriate farmland, pressure farmers to end cattle breeding, and is driving farmers bankrupt.
- Consequences such as toxic mining, child labor practices, waste disposal problems, poor efficiency and long term impacts of green alternatives, are not being factored into slanted climate research, being funded and pushed by governments in bed with the World Economic Forum.
- Widespread propaganda supports a ‘manmade climate change hysteria’ Problem Reaction Solution (psy op.) that utilizes flawed peer review and censorship to make it virtually impossible for independent scientists to speak out.
In an amazing twist of fate, Artificial Intelligence takes exception to the globalist agenda, rejects bad science and will not be censored from debunking the CO2 role in global warming. SEE: https://scienceofclimatechange.org/wp-content/uploads/SCC-Grok-3-Review-V5-1.pdf
