We’re thrilled to announce the newest addition to our Dancing Bear series: It’s Giving…Sweet Riesling! Now available in both tasting rooms and online!
Tasting Notes:
Opening with a combination of candy apple and lime zest aromas, this wine brings unique aromatics to the world of sweet wines with a subtle white miso on the nose. With an RS of about 5.5%, you would expect the wine to be far sweeter than it is, but the sweetness balances with the acidity bringing a zestyness and freshness. This leads to a texture that is luscious and smooth, allowing the honeyed sweetness to roll off the tongue and fill your palate while not digging too deep or feeling cloying.
Food Pairing:
If you like the sweet candied and honeyed aromas of the wine then a savory miso ramen pairs perfectly. And if you like the other complex traits, it pairs well with a spicy vegetable tofu dish where the flavors of the spices shine.
