A Dundee resident has been arrested again, this time facing a charge of predatory sexual assault involving a child under 13, according to New York State Police.
The man, identified as Ronald Chilson, 48, was taken into custody on Thursday in connection with the latest allegations. This marks the third arrest for Chilson in just over one year on charges related to sexual abuse of minors.
Earlier this year, Chilson was accused of abusing foster children during 2022 and 2023. Those investigations led to felony charges and were tied to a February 2024 incident that involved the Yates County Child Protective Services.
As of the most recent incident, prosecutors have not disclosed whether formal charges have been filed, or any additional details about the alleged victim or circumstances. Court proceedings have not yet been scheduled, and there has been no statement from Chilson or his legal representatives.
