We’ve been fortunate to have the opportunity to assist two local organizations this month! We participated in the Farm Sanctuary‘s annual signature event, the Hoe-Down, providing wine for the opening reception. The Farm Sanctuary’s Watkins Glen sanctuary is across the lake, and it’s open for visitors Wednesday through Sunday (reservations required).
Atwater Vineyards also sponsored the Humane Society of Schuyler County‘s August Pet Pantry. This is an important service to the community to keep families and pets united, and the need is growing! They can always use donations both financial and of food, toys, treats, and kitty litter. Thanks to Marketing Manager, Aimee, and wine club member Kristene Scholz for volunteering. They helped pass out supplies for 47 dogs and 97 cats!
