A beloved community golf outing will once again bring together players of all abilities for a good cause later this month.
The seventh annual Latournament is scheduled for Saturday, September 27, at the Bath Country Club. The event begins with a 1 p.m. shotgun start and is organized by the Latour family in memory of their late parents. Since its inception, the fundraiser has helped strengthen services for older adults throughout Steuben County.
Proceeds from the tournament benefit the Steuben Senior Services Fund in collaboration with ProAction’s Home Delivered Meals program, which ensures nutritious meals reach homebound seniors.
Participation costs $85 per player and includes a round of golf, food, beverages, and entry into prize contests. Organizers emphasize that the day is designed for fun and community spirit, with awards recognizing everything from top scores to next-to-last finishes.
