PENN YAN – The Village of Penn Yan Department of Public Works has announced plans to begin paving work this week, with crews expected to start on Wednesday, October 15, weather permitting.
The tentative schedule includes resurfacing on the following streets:
- Sunset Avenue
- South Avenue (from Brown Street to Lake Street)
- Crescent Drive
- Upper Hamilton Street
Village officials are advising motorists to expect temporary delays and to use extra caution when traveling through work zones. Drivers are also urged to obey all posted signage and traffic control measures while crews are on site.
The DPW noted that schedules may shift depending on weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. Updates will be shared through official village channels as work progresses.
