Grace just graduated from FLLEA and Wood comes from the Schuyler County Sheriff’s Office

The Penn Yan Police Department would like to congratulate Officer Brandon Grace who graduated from the Finger Lakes Law Enforcement Academy. Brandon is a Penn Yan native who graduated from Penn Yan High School before going on to attend Finger Lakes Community College and SUNY Potsdam where he studied Criminal Justice. Brandon has previous experience working as a Yates County probation Officer and will be a great fit at the police department. Congratulations Brandon!
The Penn Yan Police Department would like to welcome Gabriel Wood to the department. Gabriel grew up in Newfield New York where he graduated high school. Gabriel went on to attend Brockport University and upon graduation attended the Southern Tier Law Enforcement Academy. Gabriel worked as a deputy with the Schuyler County Sheriffs Office before transferring to Penn Yan. We welcome Gabriel and wish him the best.
