A special guy brings hundreds of gifts to patients and families

Dansville, NY —Noyes Memorial Hospital welcomed a heartwarming surprise today as Lucas, a remarkable young friend from Livingston County, arrived with a very special delivery. Escorted by Wayland Fire Department, Lucas pulled up to the hospital with a U-Haul truck filled with more than 350, all intended for children who may spend Christmas in the hospital this year.
Lucas raised the money for these gifts by making and selling Buffalo Bills bracelets. This is his second year supporting Noyes in this meaningful way, and his generosity has grown tremendously. He quadrupled the number of gifts donated last year, demonstrating an extraordinary commitment to brightening the holidays for young patients and their families.
During today’s visit, Lucas was greeted by hospital staff and presented with a Certificate of Kindness by Mike Donegan, Vice President of Operations at Noyes Memorial Hospital, in recognition of his compassion, creativity, and dedication to the community.
“We are truly grateful for Lucas and the joy he brings,” said Dr. Chad Teeters, CEO. “His thoughtfulness and hard work put smiles on the faces of so many during a time when it is needed most.”
