Penn Yan Manor has been named one of New York State’s highest-performing nursing homes, earning top recognition through the New York State Nursing Home Quality Initiative.
The annual initiative evaluates Medicaid-certified nursing facilities across the state using a range of performance indicators, including quality of resident care, regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and outcomes from state health inspections. Facilities are grouped into five performance tiers, with the top tier reserved for those demonstrating the strongest overall results.
Penn Yan Manor achieved the highest ranking for the third consecutive year, qualifying it for designation as a top-performing facility. In 2024, only 33 nursing homes statewide reached this level of distinction.
State officials noted that the designation reflects sustained excellence in care delivery, strong management practices, and consistent adherence to health and safety standards, underscoring Penn Yan Manor’s commitment to maintaining a high quality of life for its residents.
