Tenney Opens FY27 Community Project Funding Applications for NY-24, Sets March 9 Deadline

Staff Report / March 2, 2026

U.S. Rep. Claudia Tenney has announced the launch of the Community Project Funding (CPF) process for Fiscal Year 2027, with applications due by the close of business on March 9.

Tenney said the CPF process allows members of Congress to advocate for projects that directly benefit communities across New York’s 24th District, while promoting transparency, accountability and congressional oversight in federal spending decisions. The program enables eligible local governments and nonprofit organizations to request funding for high-priority community projects.

According to Tenney’s office, all proposals must demonstrate strong local support, meet strict eligibility standards outlined in appropriations guidance, and include a detailed plan for responsible and efficient use of funds. Applications are thoroughly vetted and subject to oversight requirements.

Tenney’s office works with applicants to help ensure any awarded funds are used appropriately and produce meaningful results for the district. Local elected officials and nonprofit organizations seeking to apply or request additional information can email AppropriationsRequestsNY24@mail.house.gov
