Domaine LeSeurre Winery / September 5, 2025
Handcrafted with purpose, grounded in place — created to be shared.
Every bottle we release is a chapter in our story — shaped by soil, seasons, and hands. This fall, we invite you to discover 5 new wines that reflect not only the vineyards themselves, but the values we’ve built our winemaking life upon: patience, precision, and a deep respect for terroir.
These wines were born from quiet moments in the cellar and bold choices in the field — each one capturing a part of our journey.
Now, they’re ready for yours.
2024 Sauvignon Blanc Barrel Select –
First-Ever Release
- Vineyard:
Planted in 2014 on sandy clay soils
Southwest-facing slope for sunlight and airflow - Winemaking:
Aged 10 months in French oak barrels - ⅓ new oak
- ⅓ mid-aged oak
- ⅓ older neutral oak
→ This careful blend helps balance the wine’s structure and oak influence, preserving elegance and freshness.
Weekly bâtonnage adds richness and complexity
Angel’s Share: Natural evaporation in barrel gently concentrates aromas and texture
Our Story:
This wine began in New Zealand — when we met in Sauvignon Blanc vines. After 10 years and one hillside in the Finger Lakes, the vines we planted finally gave us the fruit we had envisioned. Aged with care and rooted in our shared story, this is a personal and powerful debut.
2024 Riesling “La Marinière” – New Vintage & Label
- Vineyard:
1971 vines on shale → pure minerality
1999 vines on clay → weight and body
1987 vines on clay-shale with SW slope → ripe fruit expression - Winemaking:
100% stainless steel fermentation
No oak, no malolactic — pure precision
Our Story:
La Marinière is named for the French sailor shirt — a symbol of freedom and style. This Riesling blends three parcels with purpose: shale brings structure, clay brings weight, and the warm slope brings ripeness. It’s vibrant, mineral, and clear — just like the wine we dreamed of making in the Finger Lakes.
2024 Sweet Reserve Riesling – Limited Release
- Vineyard:
1999 vines planted on clay soils
Select clusters left on vine ~1 month longer - Winemaking:
Aged in neutral oak
Naturally concentrated sugars
Our Story:
Sweet Reserve is a small miracle. It begins in the vineyard, where we leave fruit hanging just a little longer — waiting for complexity and richness to build naturally. Céline has always dreamed of bottling the taste of autumn. This is it — golden, balanced, and made for celebration.
2023 Chardonnay Sélection Spéciale – First Release
- Vineyard:
Two sites:
1971 vines on shale → adds structure & minerality
1999 vines on clay → brings roundness & fruit expression
West/southwest-facing slopes - Winemaking:
60% stainless steel, 40% neutral French oak
Lees stirring (bâtonnage): weekly in barrel, monthly in tank
Aged 10 months
Our Story:
Chardonnay is in our roots. Sébastien’s family grew it for sparkling wine in Champagne; Céline explored it across France and New Zealand. These two Finger Lakes vineyards brought together shale’s structure and clay’s richness — just like we’ve brought together our experience. This is the Chardonnay we’ve waited to make.
2020 Cabernet Franc Barrel Select – New Vintage
- Vineyard:
Grapes from three Finger Lakes vineyards
Soils: limestone and clay - Winemaking:
4-day cold soak
18 days on skins
Gentle remontage (2x/day)
Aged 22 months in French oak (⅓ new, ⅓ semi-used, ⅓ neutral)
3 years bottle-aged
Our Story:
Cabernet Franc has always felt noble to us. It reminds us of the Loire, but here in the Finger Lakes, it speaks differently. This wine took time, precision, and patience — from vineyard to oak barrel to bottle. It reflects depth, maturity, and the place we now call home.
