On 12/19/25 around 8:05am, Steuben County 911 center received a phone call from a number that was traced back to Ontario County where a female made direct threats to the Bath Haverling School District. After further investigation into this incident Officers were able to quickly locate this female, CARRIE MCCHESNEY, 36, of Geneva NY. Bath Police contacted Ontario County Sheriff Office and they were able to take her into custody. CARRIE MCCHESNEY was then turned over to the Bath Police Department.
CARRIE MCCHESNEY was arrested for Making a Terroristic Threat, a class D Felony. Bath Police Department would like to thank the Bath Haverling School District, Steuben County 911 Center, Steuben County Sheriff Office, and the Ontario County Sheriff Office.
