The Yates County Sheriff’s Office is requesting assistance from the public in locating a man who is the subject of an active bench warrant.
Deputies have identified the individual as Nathaniel J. Wright. According to the sheriff’s office, the warrant was issued by the court, though officials have not released additional information regarding the case connected to the warrant.
Wright is described as a white male, approximately 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighing around 230 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes and was born on March 10, 1988. Authorities have circulated a photograph of Wright as part of their effort to locate him.
Anyone with information about Wright’s location is urged to contact the Yates County Sheriff’s Office at 315-536-4438. Tips may also be submitted anonymously by text message by sending the word “YATES” to 847411.
Law enforcement officials stress that members of the public should not attempt to approach Wright themselves and should instead relay any information directly to authorities.
