Douglas Jay Toussaint, 63, Wellsville

Douglas Jay TOUSSAINT, 63, of Wellsville, NY, died Tuesday, February 24, 2026 in UR Jones Memorial Hospital.  

Born October 5, 1962, in Medina, he was the son of Vernon and Nelda Beeton Toussaint.  Douglas resided at The Arc of Allegany-Steuben East Dyke Street residence in Wellsville for many years.  

He attended Lighthouse Christian Fellowship in Alfred.  Doulgas enjoyed going to the zoo, listening to music, and especially loved anything “Batman.”  He will be sadly missed by his beloved peers, resident staff, and the greater Arc family.  

He is survived by a brother, Jeff (Marcia) Toussaint of Albion; a sister, Jenifer (Joe) Cardone of Medina; and several nieces & nephews.  

Friends may call at Lighthouse Christian Fellowship, 1498 Randolph Road, Alfred, NY on Friday, March 6, 2026 from 1:00 – 3:00 PM, with Funeral Services following at 3:00 PM.  Pastor Pavel Boyuk will officiate.  Burial will be in Millville Cemetery, Town of Shelby.
