Notice to Village of Bath, New York & Town of Bath, New York residents and motorists, The Village of Bath, New York Street Department and the Town of Bath, New York Highway Department has commenced street sweeping operations within the Village & Town. Motorists are advised to exercise caution and reduce speed when approaching and navigating around the street sweeper, which operates at approximately 5 mph, although speed may decrease with heavier debris loads.
At intersections, the sweeper may need to back up to traverse perpendicular streets. We remind drivers to use caution and slow down when encountering roadwork of any kind, as several incidents have already occurred this year.
