An investigation continues into the accused
From the Penn Yan Police Department,
Desiree L. Heitmann, 27, of Penn Yan, was arrested by Penn Yan Police following an investigation into an inappropriate relationship with minors. It is alleged that on May 30th and 31st, Heitmann invited two teenage juvenile males, ages 14 and 15, to her residence, where she provided alcohol and marihuana to them. During the night Heitmann allegedly touched the intimate parts of one of the males by rubbing his chest and laying her head on his crotch. It is alleged that Heitmann also provided the juvenile with money, gifts and paid for arcade games and meals while on an outing in Canandaigua. Heitmann was charged with Forcible touching, two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a child and two counts of Unlawfully dealing with a child. Heitmann was transported to the Yates County Jail to await arraignment in Yates County CAP court.
Both juvenile males have been referred to victim services. The investigation is ongoing as police continue to examine digital evidence and social media communication platforms.
