STEUBEN COUNTY – Local motorists will need to plan an alternate route on the first morning of August due to a scheduled roadway disruption. County Route 333, commonly known as Campbell-Risingville Road, is slated for a temporary closure to all traffic on Saturday, August 1, to safely accommodate an upcoming local community event.
According to Steuben County Commissioner of Public Works Eric Rose, the travel restriction will be relatively brief, remaining in effect for a two-hour window from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.. The closure will strictly impact the stretch of highway extending from Reed Hill Road to County Route 12. Drivers traveling through the area are encouraged to plan ahead, leave early, and utilize surrounding secondary roads to bypass the closed corridor during the morning festivities.
