From the SCSO,
On October 6, 2026, Sheriff Allard proudly swore in two new deputies to our Road Patrol Division, S. Weldy and B. Chapman.
Deputies Weldy and Chapman will begin attending the Southern Tier Law Enforcement Academy in January. We look forward to seeing them complete their academy training and begin their field training in the spring of 2027.
Please join us in welcoming these two new members to our team and wishing them success as they begin this exciting new chapter in their law enforcement careers
