Yates County Sheriff’s Department responded to a single-vehicle accident on State Route 14A in the Town of Starkey. The incident occurred on March 23, 2024, at 1:20 PM. Marina Partridge, a 25-year-old from Dundee, NY, was driving south on SR 14A when she lost control of her vehicle. Her car slid off the roadway and struck the west side guide rail before continuing along the ditch and coming to a stop.
As a result of the accident, Ms. Partridge complained of neck and shoulder pain. She was transported to Schuyler Hospital for treatment of her non-life-threatening injuries.
Yates County Sheriff’s Deputies on the scene included Deputy Newell and Deputy Walker. The incident report, number 2024-02617, was submitted on March 25, 2024, at 8:19 AM by Deputy Newell. The report was disseminated to the press and social media by Sergeant Daggett, who also disseminated it to dispatch.
No other agencies were involved in the response to the accident.
