Wayne County: Marion woman arrested for DWI
Deputies from the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Marion woman on charges of Driving While Intoxicated.
The accused was pulled over after allegedly failing to maintain her lane and crossing into oncoming traffic on State Route 21 in the Town of Marion. After the stop, deputies determined she was under the influence of alcohol.
Upon her transport to the Sheriff’s Office, The accused declined a chemical test. She was later moved to the Wayne County Jail to await CAP proceedings.
In the Town of Farmington, a Rochester NY man was arrested on multiple felonies related to a DWI stop. Michael Alston, 30, was charged with a misdemeanor charge of using a vehicle without an interlock device and these three felonies:
Aggrevated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle, a Class E felony
Operating a Motor Vehicle with a BAC more than 1% with 2 prior convictions
Driving While Intoxicated with two previous convictions within 10 years
Alston was reported held by the NYS Police.
