A motorcyclist was airlifted to Strong Memorial Hospital following a serious accident in Yates County.
The incident occurred when Brian Jones, from Millport, lost control of his motorcycle while turning south off Dundee-Glenora Road. The crash took place on the west side of the road. Jones sustained facial injuries and was transported to Rochester by Mercy Flight. His passenger, who suffered minor injuries to her leg and arm, was taken to Schuyler Hospital by Dundee Ambulance.
Jones has been charged with driving under the influence. The Yates County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the accident.
