GENEVA — UR Medicine Finger Lakes Health has announced the recipients of its Distinguished Values Award for the second quarter of 2024, recognizing three outstanding employees for their commitment to excellence and organizational values.
The Distinguished Values Award is presented quarterly to staff members who exemplify the highest standards of professionalism and dedication in their roles. This year, honorees were chosen from three categories: Hospital, Long Term Care, and Physician Network. Awardees are selected based on their ability to consistently go above and beyond their job expectations, serving as role models within the organization.
The honorees for this quarter include:
- Marcy Mann, LPN, from Seneca Family Health Center, recognized in the Physician Network category.
- Karen Sullivan-Griffin, MDS Coordinator at The Homestead at Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital, awarded in the Long Term Care category.
- Angela Polley, Tech Clerk on 3 North at Geneva General Hospital, selected as the Hospital honoree.
All award recipients will be considered for the Employee of the Year accolade, which is announced in May during the annual Employee Recognition event at UR Medicine Finger Lakes Health. This event coincides with National Hospital and Nursing Home Weeks, celebrating the hard work and contributions of healthcare professionals in the community.
