Three people face drug charges after a no-knock search warrant in Bath led to a significant drug seizure.
In a coordinated law enforcement operation, three individuals were arrested on drug-related charges following the execution of a no-knock search warrant at a residence in the Village of Bath, New York. The operation, conducted by the Bath Police Department with assistance from the Steuben County Sheriff’s SWAT Team, targeted a home on Belfast Street as part of an ongoing investigation into narcotics possession and distribution.
During the early morning raid, officers recovered a substantial quantity of methamphetamine, suspected fentanyl, and various materials associated with drug packaging and sales.
The individuals arrested include:
- Joseph E. Hojnoski, 54: Apprehended on a Superior Court Warrant, Hojnoski faces felony charges of third-degree criminal possession and third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance. He is also charged with felony tampering with physical evidence. Following his arraignment, Hojnoski was transported to the Steuben County Jail, where he remains held with the opportunity for bail.
- Kimberly S. Jerrells, 47: Charged with second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a Class A-II felony. Jerrells was released following her Centralized Arraignment Part (CAP) arraignment.
- Michelle L. Burleson, 33: Arrested on a warrant for second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia, a Class A misdemeanor. Burleson was also released after her CAP arraignment.
Authorities have indicated that further charges may be forthcoming as the investigation continues.
