Steuben County has declared a State of Emergency for the towns of Canisteo, Cameron, Bath, Urbana, Pulteney, and Wayne due to excessive rainfall and multiple road closures. Steuben County requests only Emergency Travel in these towns. First responders and highway crews are actively responding to multiple calls.
The following roadways are affected. SR36, SR248, SR54, SR 54-A, CR10, CR15, CR14, CR119, CR87, CR88, CR89. Stay away from these areas.
Residents are urged to travel only in the case of emergency in the above-mentioned towns. Help us keep the roads clear for responders to operate. Call 911 ONLY for Emergencies. Report wire calls to your local utility.
