Heron Hill Winery / July 18, 2025
At Heron Hill Winery, we believe in giving back to the community that has given so much to us. Our story began in 1972 when our founders, John and Josephine Ingle, planted vineyards overlooking beautiful Canandaigua Lake. Today, those same Ingle Vineyards remain at the heart of what we do, certified sustainable and carefully tended with respect for the land, the lake, and the people who call this region home.
That’s why we’re proud to support the Canandaigua Lake Watershed Association (CLWA). The CLWA works tirelessly to preserve, protect, and advocate for the Canandaigua Lake watershed through education, scientific monitoring, and community engagement. Their efforts ensure that this natural treasure remains clean and vibrant for generations to come.
To celebrate and support this mission, we’ve created two limited-edition wines made from grapes grown on our Canandaigua Lake vineyards: a Chardonnay and a Cabernet Franc. With every case sold, $24 is donated back to the CLWA, directly supporting their important work.
This partnership is a natural extension of our values: sustainability, stewardship, and community. We’re honored to contribute in a meaningful way to the health of Canandaigua Lake and hope you’ll join us by raising a glass to this special place.
Thank you for supporting local wine and local conservation.
