The Village of Dundee will soon see major upgrades to Millard Park thanks to a $1 million Municipal Park Grant awarded by New York State Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation.
The funding will support a wide range of improvements aimed at making the park more inclusive and accessible. Plans include the installation of a playground designed for children of all abilities, new ADA-compliant walking trails complete with fitness stations, the creation of a dedicated dog park, and updated fencing around the basketball court and softball field.
Village officials say the grant represents a significant investment in the community’s quality of life. In a statement, the village clerk’s office shared, “We are thrilled to have been part of the grant application process and are so proud to see this project come to life. Millard Park is about to become an even more welcoming and vibrant space for all our residents. We can’t wait to share it with you.”
