Seneca County Sheriff / October 13, 2026
The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that on October 9th, 2026, at about 6:45 am Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a Personal Injury Motor Vehicle Accident on Burgess Road in the Town of Junius involving an SUV and an E-bike.
After investigation it was determined that Annette Carter of Waterloo N.Y. was operating a 2023 Chevrolet SUV Northbound on Burgess Road when she struck an E-Bike that was traveling in the same direction.
The E-Bike operator was identified as 18-year-old Sarahann Caster of Waterloo N.Y. Caster was Transported Via LIFE NET Helicopter to Strong Memorial Hospital. Prior to flight her condition was stable. Both the SUV and E-Bike sustained heavy damage.
Carter was issued a uniform Traffic Ticket for following too closely.
